Location. The Omni Richmond Hotel overlooks the James River and borders the historic and financial districts of Richmond, Va. The hotel is adjacent to historic Shockoe Slip, a nationally registered historic area featuring restored cobblestone streets, gas lamps and more than 25 unique restaurants and boutique shops. The Governor's Mansion, Canal Walk, James River, Church Hill historic area and Civil War Visitor Center are within one half mile.
Hotel Features. The colonial style lobby features antiques and leather furniture that reflect the rich history of Richmond, Va. The hotel boasts two restaurants. Barlowe's Terrace offers American and Continental cuisines prepared with regional flair and The Market offers deli style pizzas, sandwiches, salads and pastries. The hotel offers a kids' activity program and provides parents a list of family attractions, local emergency numbers and safety/first aid kits. Fitness options include treadmills and a heated indoor pool. Guests also receive complimentary access to an adjacent YMCA. Guestrooms. Each guestroom is decorated in neutral pastel colors. Beds feature 250 thread count sheets with a white on white pinstripe bedcover. Oversize bathrooms feature marble vanities, bath/shower combinations, lightweight waffle weave bathrobes, combed cotton towels and Institute Swiss toiletries. Expert Tip. If you don't have time to visit the adjacent YMCA, ask for a complimentary Get Fit Kit upon check in. You'll receive a canvas bag, floor mat, two dumbbells, an elastic exercise band and a booklet of exercises. You'll also receive a bottle of chilled water and a hand towel.
